Gran Cabanna Cabarete is on the beach in the very heart of Cabarete, on the Dominican Republic’s north shore, 20 minute drive to the east from the Puerto Plata International Airport (Gregorio Luperon) and ten minutes past of the town of Sosua. It is one hour from the international airport in Santiago in the mountains, and three hours from Santo Domingo.

Road Direction: From the Puerto Plata International Airport, drive to the exit and turn left onto National Highway #5. In a little more than five minutes you will pass through the town of Sosua. 15 minutes later, you be in Cabarete.

Airports: Cabarete is twenty minutes from the Puerto Plata International Airport; one and a half hour from Santiago International Airport through the mountains; three and one half hours from Santo Domingo International Airport; and two and one half hours from the Samana International Airport.

Flying into one of these three cities can be less expensive than flying into Puerto Plata.
